The impossible has happened... I've actually become a fan of Akira Toriyama. I just started reading Dragonball the manga from the beginning. Little Goku is so cute, and those early color pages are gorgeous. I just had this urge to draw one of his chubby young boys, so I made Gohan my victim!
Tools: G-Pen, deleter paper and ink, copic multiliner, and photoshop for color~
gorgeous work. Toriyama san has been justified with this piece

Am I hallucinating that today is your birthday? Happy Birthday if I'm not~!
Also yay Gohan~! You drew him super cute (and it looks so different from your usual style)! I loved Toriyama's color pages so much. XD He apparently hates everything he put in the Dragonball/DBZ artbook.

it makes me so happy to hear about new fans of DragonBall! i've been obsessed with it since i'm a very little kid (it started in france in the mid 80s around 1986), like actually most of french people of my age, and i'm so glad that this fantastic manga never stops attracting people!
Your old LJ is still on my flist, and the birthday update thing came up. (And it's the same day as my mom's, and nobody else on there has it XD) Happy Birthday then~!
Yeah, he's apparently really critical of his work. xD It makes me feel better about hating on my own stuff sometimes, haha.
